new year’s resolution:
i am not going to take photos on film anymore.
wont be easy, but i might succeed.

next stop: the old tree.

for this series i keep retouching to an absolut minimum.
basically, what could easily be done in an analog darkroom.

choice of location, point of view, time of day.

stare at this for a minute.
then look at anything else.
you will see things how they really are.

bin ich nicht besonders gluecklich, dass spiegelreflexkameras
jetzt auch einen videomodus bekommen.
bald werden kameras nirgends mehr erlaubt sein,
weil jeder sich vor veroeffentlichten videos scheut.

“nein, ihre kamera muessen sie hier lassen, keine videos erlaubt.”

i’ve been often down where the kid is.
looking up.
but i have never been up there before.
least cant remember.

good idea to reverse the angles.
think and see outside the usual box.
your personal box that is.

first step: realise the box.

the kids are on high street

they take your photograph,
you come into existence.

so existence depends on photography.

but how to take photos if you dont exist first?

the hen and egg are reincarnated.
and since both are reincarnated at the same time,
neither of them has been first.

another big mystery solved.
